Migration Medico-Legal Reports

Our Migration Medico-Legal Reports are specifically tailored for migration agents and lawyers handling cases involving clients on spouse visas who have experienced domestic violence. These clients often face the serious risk of visa revocation and deportation, making our services crucial in their circumstances.

Our comprehensive medico-legal report provides a thorough history of domestic violence incidents, along with an assessment of any psychological conditions resulting from these experiences, based on DSM-5 criteria. We evaluate whether the reported violence falls under the categories of physical violence (Clause 995.81), psychological violence (Clause 995.82), and/or sexual violence (Clause 995.83).

In addition to documenting the impact of domestic violence, our report includes tailored recommendations for treating the psychological conditions that may have arisen. Furthermore, in certain cases, the assessment is utilised to evaluate the genuineness of the marriage, which can be a critical factor in legal proceedings related to visa status.
