Self-confidence

Signs of Low Self-Confidence

Low self-confidence may manifest as a persistent sense of inadequacy, frequent self-doubt, and feeling less competent than others. It might cause reluctance to take risks or try new activities due to fear of failure or criticism. Social anxiety can lead to avoiding situations where you feel vulnerable, resulting in isolation and missed opportunities for connection. You may dismiss compliments, minimize achievements, and attribute success to luck rather than effort. Negative self-talk and feelings of unworthiness are also common indicators.

Counselling for Poor Self-Confidence

In our sessions for enhancing self-confidence, we create a supportive environment to help you feel safe sharing your feelings. We start with active listening to validate your experiences, then use cognitive restructuring to replace negative thoughts with positive, empowering ones. Together, we set small, achievable goals to build confidence and encourage positive affirmations. You will leave with practical strategies, like "thought-stopping" techniques, to reinforce positive thinking and foster self-belief.
